Jesus Skull

A handmade Jesus skull sewn from cotton fabric.

Here we have the holiest of relics, a skull from the body that was never found, body snatched from his tomb by God, the skull of Jesus Christ crowned with thorns as coronated by the Roman Soldiers. On the back of the skull is an embroidered cross with the letters ‘INRI’ which is an acronym for ‘Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum’ or ‘Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews’ The crime for which Jesus was crucified

The materials that I have used are 100% cotton calico, I have added light detail/depth of colour/aging in acrylic paint, the stuffing is made from recycled PET- bottles or factory waste, depending on which is available at the making this item, ethical, vegan, handmade and sustainable.

I lovingly handmake each of my pieces, please expect slight variations between your order and what you see in the photo, it will always be beautiful, and full of character.
