Crow's Claw Amulet

A handmade crow's claw made from fabric.

Traditional amulets are objects worn because they are believed to protect against evil, disease, or unhappiness, this lucky charm is especially lucky for the crows, ravens, magpies and any other corvids that weren't killed to make this necklace and certainly protected them against death. Fingers crossed it is as lucky for you!

This sewn amulet is made from black coloured poly-cotton fabric, I haven't used wire in this soft sculpture piece, so it may require a little bit of gentle manipulation when it arrives. This is a very light item made from fabric and stuffed with stuffing made from recycled plastic bottles or factory waste, depending on availability. The claw hangs from a length of vegan suedette thong in ether brown, black or red. I have added detail in acrylic paint. The little ring is 925 sterling silver.
