Human teeth have been worn as amulets throughout the ages. The teeth of dead friends or foes have been viewed as a representation or an embodiment of the deceased, a power that was transferred to the wearer. In Norse mythology Children’s teeth were lucky talisman for warriors to wear in battle.

This lucky wisdom tooth is sure to bring you luck battling the daily grind.

The materials that I have used are 100% cotton calico, the stuffing is kapok, the thread that I use is either lyocell (wood fibres) or cotton, it hangs from black (plant) waxed cotton cord, the ring (on the amulet) is 925 sterling silver the pin (on the brooch) is a base metal, making this item 100% plastic free, ethical, vegan, handmade and sustainable.
